Hey Folks, I’m getting through my editing pile and on to my next  pre-wedding shoot with the gorgeous Alex and Brandon.  Being a wedding photographer in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire I have a few favourite spots for Pre wedding shoots. One of the most frequently used is Ferry Meadows. It is a perfect place to hang out with my couples and finalise all those wedding plans.

These two are set to tie the knot at Homewood Hall in January, but before they say “I do,” I had the pleasure of spending a fun and relaxed afternoon with them in the Autumn sunshine at Ferry Meadows in Peterborough. I don’t know how I managed to get so lucky but every time I meet with my couples I feel so grateful for the position I am in.

I believe the best photos are taken when people are at ease, and that’s exactly what I aimed for. My pre-wedding shoot was all about letting Alex and Brandon be themselves, no stiff poses, no forced smiles – just pure, unadulterated love! I don’t pose, I prompt. A little nudge is all it takes rather than step by step instructions on how to stand, where to put your hands and where to look. It’s too confusing.

We met at a spot that meant something to them. They spent a lot of time during Lockdown walking around Ferry meadows it seems perfect. We had a few shots out in the fields, in the Autumn sunshine and then walked around to the woodland are. We talked all things wedding and figured out some ideas for the day. Pretty good way to spend an afternoon if you ask me. The photos are just an added bonus.

Working as a wedding photographer in the Cambridgeshire Area, and a Recommended supplier, I get to work at Holmewood Hall a lot. It has become my home from home and I love weddings there.  As we wrapped up the shoot, I couldn’t help but get excited about their upcoming wedding.  Their pre-wedding photos are just a taste of what will unfold on their big day. Capturing Alex and Brandon’s love story was an awesome experience, and it’s just a taste of the incredible journey that awaits them. I can’t wait to be there to capture every moment at Homewood Hall! We are in for an epic day. Roll on January.
