Hey wedding family! I have some hot summer wedding vibes to share this week, mainly just to stop me feeling so cold. January is a long year right? Emily and Nick’s wedding at Sandon Manor Should help. From pre-wedding family fun to breaking traditions, this wedding was the definition of modern love.
Pre-Wedding Fam Jam: Before the big day, Emily and Nick’s crew took over the Manor House like they owned the place. Staying the night before is always less stressful than traveling on the day. This means they managed to create a chilled out atmosphere. A chef cooking up a breakfast feast? Check. A morning run that felt more like a marathon? Double-check. This wasn’t your grandma’s pre-wedding scene – it was a full-blown fam jam.
Chillin’ in the in the Garden: Pre wedding action at Sandown Manor
Post-run cool-down happened in Sandon Manor’s garden oasis. Think sun-soaked summer garden party, refreshing bevs, and laughter that echoed through the grounds. It was like the ultimate pre-game. Having so much time in the mornings is unheard of at wedding so this was a shock to the system, but I am all for this!
Breaking Tradition with a First Look:
Who needs traditions when you can break ’em? Emily and Nick threw tradition out the window with a first look that was more “OMG” than “Aww.” Sometimes you just need your best friend to tell you everything is going to be ok.
Courtyard Ceremony in a Sun Trap:
The courtyard at Sandon Manor was basically a summer sauna, and guess what? The couple embraced it! Sweet and tears included. The ceremony was all about soaking up the rays and celebrating love under the blazing sun. Yes it was hot, yes everyone was sweating and yes it took us all by surprise, but was it worth the heat exhaustion? Absolutely. This wasn’t just any summer day – it was the hottest day of the freaking year. But did that stop the squad from turning up? Hell no! Drinks were flowing, and a badass guitarist set the soundtrack for the day.
Nightclub Room… um ok then!
When the sun set, it was time to take the party indoors. Im not sure many people would be expecting a a fully functioning night clubnat a wedding at Sandon Manor. The venue has a mix of rustic and modern features but I was not expecting an air-conditioned nightclub room. I mean it was incredible, just a huge surprise. It kicked off featuring a live band, who doesn’t love a live band and ended with a dj. The dance floor was full. Obviously.
Emily and Nick’s wedding at Sandon Manor wasn’t just a wedding; it was a modern love story with all the trimmings. Breaking traditions, scorching temperatures, and a venue that knows how to throw down – this wedding was anything but basic.
