Hey there, lovebirds! If you’ve stumbled upon this blog, chances are you’re knee-deep in wedding planning and on the hunt for that perfect photographer to capture your big day. Well, look no further because you’ve just found your wedding photography soulmate! I’m Sarah, your Lincolnshire wedding photographer, ready to be that other person following you all day. I’m actually a professional third wheel for hire.

Why Choose a Documentary Wedding Photographer?

Let’s kick things off with the burning question: Why go for a documentary style? Simple—it’s all about capturing the raw, unfiltered emotions of your wedding day. No stiff poses or forced smiles here! I’m all about those candid shots that freeze the genuine joy, laughter, and hopefully some happy tears. Your love story is unique, and your photos should reflect that authenticity. No faking it here.

I do a few posed group shots of course, and those couple portraits are prompted but most of the time is all natural.

Your Vision, My Lens!

I get it; your wedding day is your day. It’s not about me or my camera—it’s about the love story you’re about to embark on. That’s why I’m all ears when it comes to understanding your vision. Whether you’re dreaming of an intimate countryside ceremony, a chic cityscape celebration, or a breathtaking destination wedding, I’m here to make your dreams a reality. Your love story, your way. The more I know about you the better. I always offer pre wedding shoots to my couples so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding. No one wants a complete stranger following them all day, that’s creepy. I probably shouldn’t go off meeting strangers in the woods either, but we have to start somewhere!

Quality Without Compromise: The Investment

Now, I know what you might be thinking: “£2k for wedding photos? Is it worth it?” Let me assure you, it’s not just about photos. It’s about investing in memories that will last a lifetime. When you choose me as your photographer, you’re not just paying for my time on the day; you’re investing in top-notch equipment, years of expertise, insurance and a commitment to wedding that I am really proud of.

Not Just a Lincolnshire wedding photographer

Good news for all you lovebirds across the UK and beyond—I’m not just your local Lincolnshire wedding photographer. Oh no. Whether you’re saying “I do” in the heart of London, the picturesque Scottish Highlands, or even planning a destination wedding in a sun-soaked paradise, count me in! I’ve got my passport ready, and I’m always up for an adventure. Your dream wedding destination is mine too, I can promise you that! I have traveled the world and I still can’t get enough.

The Experience: More Than Just Clicks and Poses

So, what can you expect when you choose me to be the maestro behind the lens? A blend of unobtrusive candid shots capturing every stolen glance and spontaneous smile. Mix that with some dreamy natural portraits that showcase you as a couple. The result? A collection of photos that tell the story of your day in a way that words simply can’t. It’ sounds gushy but it’s true. I want your day to be about you. I’ll prompt you when necessary but mostly its just you doing you and I’ll capture what unfolds.

Let’s Get Personal: The Photographer-Bride/Groom Dynamic
