Hey there, party people! Guess who got an exclusive invite to the coolest wedding venue in town – Harlaxton Manor! Yep, that’s right! I recently crashed the scene at the Harlaxton Manor wedding showcase.
Yes It is a jaw-dropping venue surrounded by gardens that make even unicorns jealous, but they also have an epic team to help run the day. So when I found out I was on their recommended supplier list I was pretty excited. Harlaxton Manor is not just a wedding venue; it’s a University with live in students. So getting the chance to work there is pretty special. The kind of place that makes you feel like you’re stepping in to Hogwarts. . YOU’RE A WIZARD HARRY! From grand staircases to secret nooks, it’s a photographer’s playground. So to say that I was excited to be invited to their open day was an understatement. I had seen the line up of other suppliers which made it even better.

So, there I was, mingling with the couples who are about to say, “I do” at this gorgeous wedding Venue, downing coffee like its going out of fashion, and giggling like school kids with other suppliers. Not mentioning any names Steph and Noella. Oh and stuffing biscuit after biscuit baked by Noella. Wicked temptress that she is. I genuinely had a blast. I’m not one to ever do wedding shows. In fact I can’t stand them. I will occasionally do a showcase at a venue I am a recommended supplier at but thats about it. Selling myself is so hard, I get too excited talking weddings.
Now, let’s talk about the cool cats who are on Harlaxton Manor’s wedding showcase A-list – Stephan from Lincolnshire Videography, Fiona from Stylish Weddings, and Noella from Backed by Noella. These guys are awesome at what they do.

Stef from Lincolnshire Videography. Stef is not just a videographer; he’s a magician. Ok not magician as in Abracadabra and white rabbits, but what he does with his filming and editing is nothing short of magical. His cinematic wizardry is like a love story on steroids. Imagine your wedding day getting the Hollywood treatment – that’s what Stephan brings to the table. I’d call dibs on him for my wedding if I renew my Vows.
Fiona from Stylish Weddings. Design Diva Extraordinaire: Meet Fiona – the mastermind behind the Insta-worthy setups that will make your Pinterest boards go wild. From jaw-dropping florals to decor that screams “put a ring on it,” Fiona’s got the Midas touch. If your dream wedding involves feeling like a rockstar in a romance movie, she’s your secret weapon. Her table scapes are dreamy and she is a pretty handy with floral displays too. She had asked if I could take some photos for her new brochures and website so of course I managed to take my camera.
Last but not least…
Noella from Baked by Noella. Culinary Queen: Last but not least, Noella – the culinary goddess who turns weddings into a foodie fiesta. Her cakes are so delicious they should come with a warning label. She baked my sons birthday cake and it was incredible. She had a brief of Sausage dogs, Italy, pizza and donuts and managed to create this incredible work of art in a cake. Honestly she is incredible. So talented. I stuffed her iced biscuits all day like a little piggy.
I am really excited for the Harlaxton Manor weddings this year. I’ll do my very best to get things shared on here but its going to be a busy year!
