This laid-back and friendly wedding was the epitome of chilled-out fun, and we can’t wait to share all the details with you. Picture this: a picturesque countryside venue, nestled amidst the vast farmland of Lincolnshire. Crown Hall Farm was the perfect backdrop for our chilled-out affair. The rustic charm of the lake and the serene ambiance, set the stage for an intimate and relaxed wedding day. As guests arrived, they were greeted with a warm welcome and a refreshing drink, instantly putting everyone in the party spirit.
Crown Hall Farm Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was a true reflection of the couple’s personalities. Instead of traditional vows, they opted for heartfelt and humorous promises that had everyone smiling. The laid-back atmosphere allowed for spontaneous moments of laughter and tears of joy. As the newlyweds sealed their love with a kiss, cheers and applause echoed through the air, capturing the essence of the celebration. It was pretty cool to watch. The run up to the ceremony, had the Groom and his best man pacing and checking the time, so it was great to see this part of the day go to plan. The couple looked stunning, especially the bride in her beautiful wedding dress from Blush bridal in Bourne. Her make up was dreamy and she looked fresh faced all day, thanks to the impeccable work of Rachel Bray Make Up Artistry.
Food and Drinks:
What’s a chilled wedding without some delicious food and drinks? The couple chose a delightful BBQ with an array of mouth-watering options. From gourmet burgers to refreshing salads. As guests mingled, the tantalising aromas filled the air, and taste buds were treated to a true feast. You just can’t resist a BBQ. It felt like the official first day of summer.
Crown Hall Farm wedding Reception, Dancing the Night Away
As the sun began to set, the celebration moved indoors, where a beautifully decorated Marquee awaited the party. The couple shared their first dance together and had all eyes on them. The dance floor quickly filled up with guests of all ages, showcasing their best moves and letting their hair down. The DJ spun a mix of old favourites and new hits, ensuring that everyone had a chance to show off their dance skills. Including me.
I’ve asked Daisy and Rob to share their thoughts on the day.
Myself and Rob are very family orientated, we spend most of our spare time catching up with family and friends, whether this is a family bbq or just a drink at our local pub. We love long walks on the beach and coastal trips, we went to Cornwall for our honeymoon and Flew into married life on the zip line at the Eden project. We both have the same taste in music and love to have a good sing along in the car together.
Theme
The theme for our wedding was rustic, not only was the venue perfect for this but we got engaged at the beach and the venue had a small touch of nautical theme too. Our home is very neutral with the rustic elements so we knew this is what we would love at our wedding, simple but very effective. All of our decorations were from different shops but once it all was put together it matched so well, just how we had imagined when planning. We wanted our wedding day to be very relaxed but enjoyable for all of our guests, we only had small numbers for the ceremony which was perfect as we had enough time between everything to chat to all of our closest family and friends.

Robs highlight of the day was seeing Daisy in her dress for the first time after waiting months not knowing.
Daisy highlight, our first dance when Rob twirled me around and one of the straps on my dress came unbuttoned, he didn’t know at this point that they were removable and thought he had broken my dress, I thought it was great as then I unfastened the other side and carried on dancing away!

Love, laughter and memorable.
Any advice for future couples?
Enjoy every moment of planning, these are also your memories to look back on. We decorated ourselves with family and we both loved doing this. Saves you money rather than getting people in to do this for you. It also meant we could give family and friends some decorations as keep sakes.
Shop around for things! Our cake was from a small bakery 50 mins from our home. It was worth it. The price was over half the amount of other quotes we got from companies closer to us, and the taste was amazing!
Spend your money where its really needed. Some things aren’t necessary but having an amazing photographer is really worth it!! We can’t thank Sarah enough for being there and capturing our special day! She was like one of the family.
Lastly, just enjoy it all before you know it you’re married and its all done. Don’t stress or worry about other people, its your day!
