The day started in the beautiful bridal suite at Offley Place, where Alice and her bridal party got ready. With chilled vibes and zero drama it made for dreamy getting ready photos. Meanwhile, Freddie and his groomsmen enjoyed a laid back morning before suiting up in their sharp tuxedos. Blue velvet for the win…always!
My aim as always was to shoot wide on a 35mm for most of the day and fill in the details with an 85mm. Meaning I could stick with their brief of keeping it laid back and informal.
One of the highlights of an Offley Place wedding is the stunning conservatory, which was dressed with stunning florals. Alice and Freddie’s ceremony was beautiful. There were tears from the guests and lot’s smiles. The glass walls let in endless natural light, making it the ideal space for a ceremony, especially from a photographers point of view. With a backdrop of lush gardens and elegant floral arrangements, the setting was perfect. Blue flowers may be my favourite.
The reception in the stunning Hester Ballroom was nothing short of electric. The London Function Band (if you don’t know them you need to. I will link their details on here) set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Welcoming guests into the wedding breakfast with high energy songs from on top of a striking white grand piano. The atmosphere was incredible. Guests were taken by surprise by the energy as they walked in. Dancing started the second the guests were welcomed into the room and didn’t stop until the end of the evening.
Honestly this was such joyful day. So much love in one room.
