First things first, let’s talk about Hadsham Farm. Rolling green fields, rustic vibes, and a gorgeous lakeside view. This place is a photographer’s dream! Nestled in the heart of Oxfordshire, this gem of a venue offered a stunning backdrop that ticked all the right boxes.

Now, let me introduce you to the stars of the show: Katie and Steve. From the moment I met them, I knew their wedding would be a blast. Their infectious energy and genuine personalities set the tone for an unforgettable celebration. Their friends and family were just as wonderful.
The festivities kicked off in style with all their guests staying over at Hadsham Farm, in either cabins, tents or camper vans. All the guests made their way to the Church for the ceremony and Katie was driven by her brother in their family Mini. The look on Steve’s face when he saw his bride for the first time? Pure magic, my friends. The trees outside were covered in pink blossom and looked so pink they looked like they had been sprayed just for the wedding. Obviously I wanted them in the photos, they had no choice in the matter!
Wedding Reception at Hadsham Farm
Now, let’s talk about the reception setup that had jaws dropping left and right. The tipi tent, strategically positioned overlooking a lake, was nothing short of enchanting. Picture fairy lights twinkling, rustic wooden tables adorned with wildflowers, and a dance floor ready to ignite with some serious moves.
And oh boy, did the magic continue! Just as the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow across the water, Katie and Steve hopped into a rowing boat. I will always positively encourage things like this for 2 reasons. 1, I am a big child. 2, It makes for great photos.

But wait, there’s more! Drumroll, please. I am beyond thrilled to share that Katie and Steve’s wedding photos snagged not just one but two prestigious Wedisson Awards! Cue the confetti cannons and celebratory dance moves!
Hadsham Farm will always hold a special place in my heart. The attention to detail, the breathtaking surroundings, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made it an absolute pleasure to capture every moment.

What made you pick Hadsham farm?
As soon as we viewed the venue we knew it was us, we wanted a festival vibe and Hadsham Farm totally delivered that for us!
What was the highlight of your day/ favourite moment?
Walking down the aisle to Steve and seeing the look on his face surrounded by our closest family and friends
What was it like being the centre of attention all day? Were you nervous or full of confidence
I was absolutely dreading everyone looking at me as I’m not one for being the centre of attention but when the moment came nothing else mattered but seeing Steve at the end of the aisle and knowing I was finally going to be Mrs Shaw
Any advice for future couples?
Relax and do what you want to do, don’t let anyone else dictate to you. Enjoy every moment as in the blink of an eye it’s the next morning! Spend time with your husband/wife as it’s too easy to spend most of the day apart trying to talk to everyone, let them come to you.
